Intensely sweet, citrusy and licorice like flavor with warm and slightly spicy notes.  This spice can be used whole or ground. A little of this amazing spice goes a long way and adds a touch that will create amazing dishes.

USES: Whole pods can be used to infuse braised dishes, broths. It is a key ingredient in Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Pods can also be ground to use in baked goods.
